About Me

Gillian
After living in the city all our lives, in 2003 Geoff and I moved to an acre block right on the edge of Camperdown in Western Victoria. This is dairying country and has largely been cleared of all native vegetation for the cows and crops, so we resolved to plant an Australian garden to encourage the native birds and insects. We both love Camperdown and adore the hills, trees, cows and birds we can see from our windows. In fact, I love it all so much I want to share it with anyone who's interested – and that's why I'm writing this blog. I’m also a writer and you can find out all about that on: www.gillianmwadds.com.au The Australian Native Plants Society (Australia) is an enormous resource for State and Regional Groups, advice, study groups, nurseries, and much, more.
